Make a Herbal Dream Pillow – Tabitha

Get to know some herbs that can help you with getting a good nights sleep, having the dreams you desire, or remembering your dreams. You can then create your own combination of herbs and make a beautiful dream pillow, to put under your pillow where it will release its special aromas throughout the night.”

Lotions and Potions – Katie Beeswick
We will be making lotions and potions -foot fizzies, mini balms ( infused daisy , plantain , calendula and chickweed oils), felted soaps. To take away as your festival herbal toilet bag, might even do some charcoal toothpaste … not for the faint hearted.

Leaf Art – Katie Berney
This is a practical workshop – We will go out to gather the leaves as a group and support the children to identify them. After we have shared some facts and folklore about the chosen leaves, we will then create works of art onto canvas material. The children can then make frames for their pieces or sew the material into bags. We can also offer berry bracelets, depending on what’s growing on site.

Yarn dolls / Monster puppets – Rosy
Make a small doll from yarn (older children) or a monster puppet from card tubes (younger children). All materials provided, feel free to bring extras.

Herb Fairy Teas –┬áJo Goodyear
Forage for flowers, mix them into bath teas to help sleep, skin and tummies and decorate the bags while enjoying a Herb Fairy story.

Eco-dyeing with medicinal plants – Anna Willoughby
Botanical alchemy -which essentially is bundling up flowers and leaves in silk, rolling them tightly around copper pipes and putting them in the cauldron.
