Subsidised tickets

The gathering is not for profit and DIY organised. We aim to cover costs, make things sustainable for the next gathering and prioritise making the gathering as affordable and accessible as we can. We’ve budgeted tickets on a new sliding scale so that we can offer a limited number of subsidised places again this year for those for whom the cost of a ticket as well as travel is still unaffordable.
If you’d like to apply for a subsidised place which can be a free ticket and/or support with travel costs please tell us a bit about yourself by emailing us at For the past three gatherings we have been able to give a subsidised place to everyone who asked for one. If we get more applications this year than we are able to support we will prioritise requests from people who haven’t benefited from a subsidised place for the gathering before, alongside individuals who often face particular challenges to accessing events and services, for example refugees and asylum seekers, single parents and  those receiving disability or sickness benefits.

The closing date for 2017 gathering applications is 30th April. We’ll do our best to make it possible for as many people to come as we can, and will be in touch after 30th April.
